Hiring: Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while ensuring high standards of patient safety, quality care, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment

  • Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, and weight using manual and electronic equipment.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition, medication reactions, and treatment responses, and promptly report findings to the Registered Nurse.
  • Record and monitor fluid intake and output accurately.

Planning

  • Assist the Registered Nurse in developing and updating individualized patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Organize daily patient care activities and prioritize care based on patient needs.

Implementation & Interventions

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care while respecting patient privacy, dignity, culture, and personal preferences.
  • Assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Support physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Collect specimens, provide patient education, document nursing activities, and assist during emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals and provide translation support when required.
  • Administer medications through approved routes including oral, topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular administration after competency validation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medication dosages, therapeutic effects, contraindications, side effects, and adverse reactions.

  • Maintain professional nursing licensure and comply with organizational policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency preparedness protocols.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively within the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and supportive care environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Degree in Nursing .
  • Current licensure as a Nurse 
  • Minimum of 6 years of related healthcare experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety, and infection control practices.
  • Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
