We’re recruiting for a Scrub Nurse or ODP to join a leading independent provider of NHS cataract surgery covering the Dorchester area.

This is a great opportunity to develop within ophthalmic surgery, working in a supportive theatre team with clear training and progression opportunities.

The Role

• Scrubbing for ophthalmic procedures
• Supporting consultants during surgery
• Preparing theatre equipment and clinical areas
• Assisting with patient admission and discharge
• Maintaining safe clinical practice and documentation

You’ll work 37.5 hours per week across 4 days (7:30am–5:30pm) within a local Dorchester site cluster.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN) or ODP with valid registration (NMC or HCPC)
• Previous theatre / scrub experience
